5 Practices For Which Your Website Could Be Penalized.

There are many things which we should not do to ensure; we don’t get penalized by Google search or other search engines. Especially, after google algorithm updates like Penguin, Page layout, it’s become important to ensure that we don’t do any silly or shortcut method to get higher ranking in search. Here we are outlining some of the practices which can penalize any website:

1. Buying Links

It is a black hat SEO technique and is strictly forbidden. This method is beneficial for the buyer because it ensures that once the transaction is completed the buyer’s site would get higher ranking on the search engine results page.

2. Spamming Comments

Links gained through the unrelated source is of no use because they are no-follow links and they don’t pass you any link-juice to your site and this practice must be avoided.

3. Keywords Stuffing

This method involves using the same keywords for which you are trying to rank for throughout your website so that the site gets a higher ranking, more visibility, and more traffic. Keyword stuffing doesn’t look natural and Google would surely penalize your site if they catch you following such a practice.

4. Invisible Text

The invisible text means implementing white text, a list of keywords, on a white background. This method makes keywords completely invisible to a visitor, but search engines can still detect and index them.

5. Article Spinning

This technique is very popular among bloggers. It is similar to using duplicate content. Nowadays many software are available in the market to detect this practice. These softwares easily detect the phrase or sentences that could mean the same as that of parent blog.
